About The Mecopp Carers Centre
The Mecopp Carers Centre aims to support Black and Minority Ethnic carers by linking them with the necessary resources and services appropriate to their situation. For instance, the centre can help inform UK BME carers of services that they may be missing out on, or of local community groups and charities that they can access. However, the Mecopp Carers Centre also aims to raise the profile of Black and Minority Ethnic carers at a national level, and thus helps inform government legislation.
